Who We Are

Rangelands Community Initiative (RCI) is a Youth Led, Pastoralist non-profit organisation committed to empowering young people and grassroot communities. We empower pastoralist communities to, secure land rights and tenure and promote sustainable livelihoods, restore rangelands and biodiversity and build resilience to climate change.

Our work integrates Indigenous and local knowledge on natural resource management and inclusive community development.

We bridge knowledge, community leadership and policy to develop practical, locally driven solutions that strengthen both people and nature. Through advancing the leadership of women and youth, and preserve traditional knowledge systems for future generations.
